ABOUT MEMark has a background in education, leadership and technology. Over 20 years, he has served as a teacher, school technology coach, assistant principal, principal, division coordinator, senior director and currently through the past nine years as an Assistant Superintendent. Leading a team of professional staff Mark has a broad experience of leading and working with various portfolio areas such as:
Mark has been involved in numerous training and deployments of educational technologies with educational professionals with an instructional and technology focus in learning. Through this work he has directly supported teachers working together to provide powerful learning environment infused with digital tools to create successful learning opportunities for students. His capacity building work involves assisting and collaborating with principals, teachers and educational assistants to purposefully design learning environments using high yield strategies and tools that support instruction and enhance learning in powerful ways. This work encourages 21st century classroom learning opportunities to enable success for all learners. Throughout his career, Mark has presented to educators in several locations within North America around purposeful applications of pedagogy, instruction and technology.
